# Remotely Lock a Device

A device which has been **Screen Off**-ed goes to its lock screen - meaning the user of the device will need to enter a password to access the device (if a password has been defined). 

### How to Remotely Turn off the Device Screen:

From your CubiLock dashboard:

1. Go to the **Device list** tab, under **Device Management**
2. Click on a device **Serial Number** to open device details
3. On the top-right of the page, click on **Lock** under the **Actions** drop-down menu
